3. This certificate can be purchased by an Adult , two Adults or on behalf of minor.
4. KVP can be purchased from departmental post office.

6. Certificate can be transferred from one person to another and from one post office to another.
7. Certificate can be encashed after 2.5 years. After this lockin period , amount can be withdrawn
after every six months.
8. KVP's can be pledged for taking bank loans.
9. Not eligible for tax rebate.
